Vitamin C Helps You See

Can Vitamin C help you see? The answer seems to be “yes”. . . .

A study that followed people over the age of forty-eight for ten years found that the ones who got the most vitamin C from food and supplements had a significantly reduced risk of cataracts compared to the ones who got less. Those who got more of the combined antioxidants vitamins C, E, betacarotene and zinc also had a reduced risk.
