New Natural Combo Supplement Provides Big Relief for Migraine Sufferers.

Migraine headaches are more than just a headache. Migraine sufferers experience, not only throbbing pain, but nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound. Some also experience visual disturbances. Migraines can seriously impact quality of life. This new natural combo can really help.
It’s sounds crazy, but about 15% of all people in the world suffer from migraines. The commonly prescribed drugs often fall short, failing to help as many as 67% of people who use them. They also have numerous side effects.
Palmitoylethanolamide, or PEA for short, is still not a well-known supplement. It is made naturally in your body and is antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, pain relieving and neuroprotective. Previous studies have shown that it helps children (Pain Res. Manag. 2020, 2020, 3938640) and adults (Pharmaceuticals. 2024;17(2):145) with migraine.
This new study combined 1200mg of PEA with a small 0.2mg dose of melatonin and gave it to migraine sufferers daily for 3 month in a double-blind, placebo-controlled study.
27% of people treated with the PEA-melatonin combo had a 50% or greater reduction in the number of monthly migraine days. The monthly number of days with migraine went from 3.4 to 2.2. There was no reduction in the placebo group. In the PEA-melatonin group, 25% had a 50% or greater reduction in duration of attacks. Overall, the supplement group went from 10 hours to 7.1 hours of suffering. Again, there was no improvement in the placebo group.
The number of people experiencing moderate to severe disability dropped from93% to 30% on the supplement while the placebo group improved to only 77%. Pain intensity improved from 7.6 to 4.9 in the supplement group compared to no significant improvement in the placebo group.
Everyone in the supplement group eliminated their auras. Vomiting improved by 100%, nausea by 60% and sensitivity to light and sound by 20% on the PEA-melatonin, which was significantly better than on the placebo.
Importantly, there were no adverse events in the PEA-melatonin group, suggesting that the natural combination safely and significantly improves migraine frequency, duration and intensity while improving symptoms from auras to nausea and sensitivity to light and sound.
