A just published study offers new hope to people with multiple sclerosis that a safe, inexpensive and easy to find herb can improve disability and quality of life.

This double-blind study found that supplementing ginger can improve disability and quality of life after only 12 weeks. The study compared 500mg of ginger 3 times a day to placebo in 52 people with relapsing-remitting MS.

According to the Expanded Disability Status Scale, compared to placebo, the ginger significantly improved disability. The result was that, according to the Multiple Sclerosis Impact Scale, both physical and psychological quality of life significantly improved on the ginger compared to the placebo.

Simply taking ginger could be an easy, safe, affordable way of improving life for people with MS.
