Fruit and Vegetables Help Asthma
The number of people suffering from asthma is rapidly increasing. But it looks like improving your diet can rapidly help. . . .
One-hundred and thirty-seven people with asthma were put on either a high antioxidant diet that included five servings of vegetables and two servings of fruit every day or a low antioxidant diet that included no more than two servings of vegetables and one of fruit every day.
After only two weeks, respiratory function worsened on the low antioxidant diet but not on the high antioxidant diet. Asthma symptoms were more likely to worsen in people on the low antioxidant diet. After fourteen weeks, markers of inflammation had increased on the low antioxidant diet, but not on the high antioxidant diet.

A good diet really makes a difference when it comes to your health. One would believe that to be common knowledge, but not a lot of people take that kind of information to heart. I was not, however, aware that it could help your asthma. That is very good information to know. I’ll have to pass this information along to my dad. His asthma is awful. http://cookinghamallergy.com/cookinghamallergy.com/Home.html
