New Herb for Stress
There are many herbs that help with stress. And now there may be a new one.
This six week double-blind, placebo-controlled study gave either a placebo or an extract of the herb holy basil to 158 people suffering from stress. . . .
Total symptom scores were reduced significantly more in the holy basil group: the herb was 39% more effective than the placebo in the management of stress, including symptoms like sexual problems, exhaustion, sleep problems and, especially, forgetfulness.
