Not Just Delicious: New Research on the Health Benefits of Strawberries

Strawberries don’t get as much attention for their health benefits as some of their more famous relatives. But there is a pile of research suggesting that it is time that they do.
This new review of the research included 47 clinical trials and 13 observational studies published recently between 2000 and 2023.
It found that eating between 1 and 4 cups a day of strawberries lowers the dangerous LDL-cholesterol and reduces inflammation, meaning that they could be very beneficial for heart health.
The review also found that eating strawberries may delay cognitive decline and help prevent dementia.
So, now you have more reasons to enjoy your strawberries!
