Omega-3 & PMS
124 women with PMS were given either a placebo or an omega-3 fatty acid supplement supplying 240mg of DHA and 360mg of EPA for ninety days. . . .
The women given the omega-3 supplement were all significantly better than the women given the placebo in terms of premenstrual depression, anxiety, nervousness, difficulty concentrating and duration of breast tenderness.
