More Evidence Omega-3s are Good for Your Heart
The polyunsaturated fats known as omega-3 essential fatty acids have long been known to be good for your heart. Now, new reasearch proves it. . . .
This study pooled the results of nineteen studies from sixteen countries that included 45,637 people. The results demonstrate that biomarkers for omega-3 fatty acids from both seafood and plant sources are associated with about a 10% lower risk of fatal episodes of coronary heart disease.
That means that getting more omega-3’s in your diet will reduce your risk of dying of a coronary heart disease, like angina or heart attack.
