Iron Energy
Even if you don’t have full-blown anemia, low iron levels can be a cause of fatigue. So researchers looked at what would happen if they gave either 80mg of elemental iron or a placebo to women with borderline low iron who complained of fatigue. . . .
At the end of the twelve week study, they found that fatigue went down by nearly 50% in the women who got the iron compared to a decline of only 29% in the women who got the placebo.
So, if you are low in energy, get your iron levels checked and consider taking iron supplements.
