Estrogen-Mimicking BPA in Your Food
Bisphenol A (BPA) is an endocrine-disrupting chemical that mimics estrogen and dangerously affects your hormonal system. It has been linked to a number of health conditions, including breast cancer, prostate cancer, heart disease, infertility, polycystic ovarian syndrome, type-2 diabetes, obesity, asthma, altered brain and immune development, and ADHD.
BPA is commonly found in hard, clear plastic bottles and in the lining of cans used for canned food. So, researchers set out to see how ubiquitous BPA still is in our food supply. . . .
They tested 192 food can linings and lids to see if they contained BPA. Shockingly, the researchers found that 67% of them contained BPA.
Previouis research has found that ginseng can reduce BPA in women and that http://www.toxicfoodcans.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/BPA-BuyerBeware.pdf
