Here’s a herb that you probably still haven’t heard of. But you’re going to want to find out more when you hear what it can do: this herb has the amazing ability to relax you while energizing you at the same time!

The herb is called Rhodiola rosea. It has a very long tradition of use in Scandinavia, Russia and Asia. This amazing herb can relax you, both mentally and physically while it energizes you in both ways too.

Recently, researchers conducted a review of the literature on rhodiola and “stress-related conditions.” In an uncontrolled study, 200mg of rhodiola taken twice a day for 28 days began improving symptoms as fast as day three.

In a study of 81 students with mild anxiety, those given rhodiola had significantly better improvement in anxiety, stress, anger, confusion, vigor, and total mood after two weeks than a group who received no treatment.

When 56 healthy doctors on night duty in hospitals were given rhodiola for two weeks, that experienced relief of fatigue in some stressful situations.

Rhodiola also seems to be able to help people with the difficult to treat Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). The first evidence came from an uncontrolled study of 101 people with CFS. Rhodiola taken for eight weeks significantly improved fatigue, mood, concentration, quality of life, and general well-being. Better evidence comes from a double-blind study of 50 people with CFS: 576mg a day of rhodiola taken for four weeks significantly improved symptoms compared to the placebo group.

A study of burnout found the eight weeks of rhodiola alleviated symptoms.

So, rhodiola seems to be able to help stress, anxiety, fatigue, burnout and CFS.

Rhodiola has also been shown to improve mental fatigue and exam marks mentally and work capacity physically. It has also been shown in double-blind research to benefit depression. Rhodiola also benefits men with premature ejaculation.
