inositol lowers triglycerides and cholesterol

This little known B vitamin just might solve your cholesterol problem.

Inositol is found mostly in fruit, vegetables, beans, grains and nuts.

This systematic review and meta-analysis of 14 controlled studies of inositol and cholesterol found that supplementing inositol significantly lowers levels of triglycerides, total cholesterol and the dangerous LDL-cholesterol. It did not affect the heart healthy HDL-cholesterol.

So, add inositol to the list of natural supplements that can be beneficial for people with cholesterol problems.
